I was shocked. But I shouldn’t have been…. :P
The title is a tongue-twister. I don’t even want to type it again because then I say it in my head! Let me know if you can do it correctly (and no cheating – at normal speaking speed, several times!).
And no… I don’t know what Jon and Josh were doing in panel 5. O_o

Megan is in charge of crossing off the days on our calendar, and she is very creative! This is a picture of my favorite day-crossing so far this month!

In the comic I am reading Death Note, which the 2nd most wonderful manga in the whole wide world (1st is Yotsuba&!). I mainly read classical literature and manga, which is an odd combination, I know.  One of the main characters, L, is on the left page of the book. L’s a genius detective who is as weird as me and has a beautifully dry sense of humor and sits (he says his reasoning ability drops 40% if he sits like a normal person)+holds things oddly! I’ve been imitating him in that lately. It drives my sister Megan nuts. :D

It’s a great series! :D

Today is my friend Jessie’s birthday, and this is the comic she starred in ….  it was the third one I drew! Back in June 2012. I’ve made over 100 comics since then!  O_o

99% of spiders have 8 eyes, typically placed in two rows. The other 1% has 6 or 4. I was researching spider’s vision to try to justify the last panel (which I have forgotten my thought process for and so seems … odd, to say the least)(which must be how it appears to everybody else), and check out what I found:

“Spider eyes are crude and can detect little more than light and dark, although some arachnids are able to detect kinds of light invisible to humans”! Awesome, huh?  Birds can also see colors invisible to humans. I wish I could!   Speaking of that (somewhat), I read this a while ago  …  “People with some types of color blindness can (maybe) distinguish colors that people with normal color vision are not able to distinguish.”  :l  Not sure what to think about that…!

So, the last panel is supposed to be the reflection off a spider’s eyes. Sort of….  :P

So I was spending the night at my friend Amanda’s house, and in the morning I went outside. I came back inside …. and I expected to get a normal greeting from her brother? How could I have presumed something so strange??? I can’t believe myself…

As I was drawing the back of Jon’s head in panel 3, I was thinking ‘the back of his hair looks a little like a hedgehog’. And that’s why I added legs and a head…  My expression can be interpreted as either something like ‘What happened to “Hi”?’ or ‘Why is there a hedgehog attached to the wall?’.  I normally think of him as Jon, not Hedgehog. Honestly.
